Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. She was born February 9 in 1997. Her mother lived in areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old when she was adopted. The family she adopted is consisting of one Filipino adoptive mother and white American military veteran. She claims that she and her adopted brother were subjected to abuse since they were children up until the time she enlisted. To move to Texas after she reached 13her family stayed for several months in San Francisco to stay with her Aunt. She claims that the physical assault subsided but she still dealt with her father's mental abuse at home. After turning 18, she enlisted in the United States Navy. Poarch started her TikTok account in April 202020. The account grew quickly to fame, amassing more than 40,000,000 followers within less than eight months. Her most notable success came from her video for Millie B's hit track Soph Aspin Send. This zoomed video, which featured her lip-syncing to the song in rhythmic to the song, became to the top of the charts. After joining TikTok she created her own YouTube and Twitter account to capitalize on her fame. Poarch's rising fame peaked in November, 2020. It was reported that she attracted the attention of two major professional Esports organizations. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves both showed interest in hiring the content creator to work for their own brands.
